Your Call Did Not Go Through Please Try Your Call Again Fedloan

  1. My jail cell gets a "call did not go through" msg when called by gf only in sure city?

    Hey guys,
non sure if this is the right place to ask, just I alive in ABQ in NM and bought my iPhone and started a new contract with AT&T...My girlfriend lives in ABQ as well but her mom lives in Las Cruces, which is where she got her cell contract with Alltel from (Blackberry Pearl). For some reason she can call me when she is in ABQ but when she goes downward to visit in Las Cruces, everytime she calls it gives her a message saying "WERE Sorry, YOUR CALL DID Non Become THROUGH. Delight Endeavour Again Afterward"...Simply she's e'er got that bulletin everytime she calls from Las Cruces. What's going on? Should I call AT&T or should she call Alltel?

    Any help would be appreciated

    ---What I've tried so far---
    For My iPhone
    -reset network settings
-took sim card out, then did reset

    For Her Blackberry
-Took bombardment out for thirty sec
    -And so did a *228 option 1

    Nothings worked so far...

  2. I believe that the tower (PRL) update for Alltel is *228 Option ii merely like Verizon. That being said, Las Cruces is office of Alltel that is existence acquired by AT&T and may exist in limbo at present.

  3. UPDATE- Called AT&T, they sent some updates to my iPhone, asked her to call and all the same didn't work...They said to have her call Verizon cuz it wasn't on my end

    -Blackberry
    -Did *228 Choice 2

    Still didn't piece of work

  4. Peradventure the telephone call isn't existence routed to the correct terminating switch? I would accept her phone call Verizon and meet what they'll practice. I'd speculate that the trouble is more likely on the originating end equally well.

Why practice yous say to contact Verizon? The OP said his gf's phone was Alltel and Las Cruces is an Alltel area that is going to ATT. It should be either Alltel or ATT who would have the updates for her telephone, not Verizon.

Doesn't she still accept a CDMA phone?

yeah, she however has a CDMA telephone...

Did some research and apparently Verizon is selling the Alltel assets to AT&T the first quarter of 2010...Once the FCC approves this, the conversion of changing towers from CDMA to GSM will happen which is expected to accept at least a twelvemonth...

So my question is, since she still has a CDMA phone, will my gf be forced to switch to AT&T or another carrier and if she is however in the middle of her contract, how will that work?

  8. I'll +i with what blkballoon925 wrote, can't tell y'all which carrier is causing the issue your GF is having - it could be either carrier. I had the issue with ATTWS for about 45 days this past summer, couldn't get a phone call through to the unabridged 360 area code - it was GD maddening! ATTWS was having issues with routing through CenturyTel and Qwest landlines - one 24-hour interval they figured it out and it's been fine since. I had to continue griping to ATTWS for 4 weeks until they finally focused on the event and submitted a problem ticket.

  9. I think it has something practice to with the conversion, but IMO.

  10. Every bit a Technical Support Rep for at&t who handles these types of calls all the time, Have your girlfriend telephone call y'all, and listen to the whole error bulletin that plays when it says cannot accomplish cust, or call didn't go through, or whatever at the end of that message information technology will have a tagline where the hang upward is.. It volition have like NM02A or something of that sort, if anywhere in that message says at&t phone call at&t, if it doesnt say anything virtually at&t within the message and then it is not on at&t's end.

    Thanks, I'll try this

  12. DreamDriven is correct....

The problem has to do with how the call is being routed on the network. This is non something that can exist stock-still on neither the caller'due south phone or on the phone of the person being called.

There are a handful of things that could be causing the problem...

Hypothetically lets say that y'all activate new service wth AT&T and you're given a telephone number that has a brand new prefix inside that particular surface area lawmaking. When a new prefix is launched in an area lawmaking, each telephone service provider has to enter that prefix into their network switch. If for whatever reason a service provider does non enter that new prefix into their switch, then none of their customers will be able to call a number with that item area lawmaking and prefix.

Has your girlfriend tried calling you from some other telephone that's on Alltel? If she'south able to phone call you from anoter Alltel telephone then that means the problem is related to the connecton between her account on the network & the network switch.

So the problem is related to some kind of issue on Alltel's network.

Okay, where is he phone number from? ABQ is going to Verizon. If thats where her number is from, and so she will exist Verizon. If it's in that other place, then she will be AT&T.

  14. This may be a light-headed question but are your numbers in the same area lawmaking?
If and then does she punch ten digit when she is out of your city? or even 11 digit as probably isn't needed but... maybe a one+areacode+number ???

Sig Removed (might be misconstrued equally ad)

  15. So it but happens when she visiting her mother...hmmm. That is very weird and I'chiliad no technician so I would be more inclined to recollect my girl is lying well-nigh her where abouts. lol

Not to throw doubtfulness into your relationship but along with calling ATT, I would telephone call a private investigator. just my ii cents.
